Our High School curriculum equips students with the knowledge and skills to excel in the Panhellenic Exams and pursue their chosen university path. Students follow one of three Orientation Groups aligned with the main fields of study - Humanities, Science and Technology, Health and Life Sciences, or Economics and IT, tailored to their academic interests and career goals. The Greek High School Support Programme provides additional targeted preparation to ensure exam success.
For the final two years of High School, we have developed a comprehensive programme that guarantees exceptional student performance whilst transcending the conventional tutoring model. Through a structured system for knowledge organisation, students benefit from complete academic and psychological support, learning to optimise their energy and time management to excel when it matters most. The programme provides:
Students enrolled in our Bilingual Programme advance their journey with 15 hours per week of English-medium instruction through CLIL, now extending to more challenging subjects including maths, social studies, MUN, sciences, art and PE. This progression builds academic language proficiency whilst maintaining strong foundations in Greek. In their final MYP year, learners choose between the MYP Certificate pathway, with increased English-medium learning, or the Bilingual Programme stream, with the opportunity to work towards Cambridge and Michigan certifications, both ensuring readiness for rigorous academic futures.
Greek high school students graduate with a strong academic foundation, the confidence to think independently and the skills to embrace the opportunities and challenges of university life in Greece and around the world.

Students enjoy personalised learning that continuously enhances knowledge, skills and understanding.
Life competencies
Students gain essential life skills to thrive in academics, as well as careers and personal lives.
Students pursue fluency in English, French, German or Spanish and earn internationally recognised certifications.

Life & career pathways
Students benefit from personalised guidance for university and career choices, supporting their chosen path.
Our Greek High School Programme builds on the Greek curriculum and IB-inspired learning to help students excel in the Panhellenic Examinations, which grant access to tuition-free Greek public universities and are recognised by many European institutions. Students are assessed on the official 1 - 20 Greek grading scale and receive continuous qualitative feedback on their learning and progress.
In the last two years of Greek High School, students benefit from extended teaching hours in orientation subjects, as well as weekly Panhellenic exam simulations using the official grading scale and detailed feedback.
Continuous academic and psychological support, additional materials, online tests and live contact with teachers ensure they learn how to organise knowledge, manage time and energy and perform at their best.
Students build powerful life skills that go beyond academics. They learn to organise their work, engage deeply with challenging content, manage their time effectively and stay methodical and disciplined.
By practising patience and keeping a clear focus on long‑term goals, they develop resilience and perseverance, key qualities for success in demanding exams, university and life beyond school.
Students advance their multilingual journey with the option of continuing our Bilingual Programme through Grade 10 whilst progressing in French, German or Spanish through proficiency-based groups.
Experience-based learning in multiple languages naturally prepares learners for internationally recognised certifications, including Cambridge and Michigan English examinations (KET, PET, FCE, CPE, ECCE, ECPE), with structured guidance supporting them towards B1 certification in their additional language, typically achieved by Grade 10, ensuring they graduate as accomplished multilingual communicators.
Students broaden their horizons through a wide range of international and intercultural experiences. A vibrant Model United Nations programme includes a major on‑campus conference welcoming hundreds of delegates each year, plus additional conferences in Greece and abroad, helping learners build confidence in public speaking, negotiation and global citizenship.
Virtual exchanges further deepen global awareness. Students collaborate online with international partner schools to explore culture, heritage and everyday life, co‑creating digital projects that showcase landmarks, traditions, music and cuisine. Together with ISP ILOS, these experiences equip them with the skills, perspectives and connections needed to thrive in an interconnected world.
Platon School's future pathways guidance helps students move from aspiration to action. In Grade 10, specialised career assessments and feedback sessions with parents deepen self-awareness, while international university visits and the AZ digital platform open up concrete options in Greece and abroad. Through personalised counselling, students explore undergraduate and postgraduate programmes alongside the careers linked to each route.
Advisory teachers support them step by step to align strengths, interests and ambitions with concrete study choices, so they can plan their next move with clarity and confidence.
The IB MYP Certificate is an internationally recognised qualification validating students’ achievement at the end of the Grade 10. Awarded through on-screen exams, ePortfolios and the Personal Project, it assesses critical thinking, problem solving and applying knowledge in new contexts. Students demonstrate learning across a broad range of subjects, in multiple languages and through meaningful community engagement via Service as Action. This external certification is highly regarded by schools and universities worldwide, strengthening applications and building confidence for future study, while affirming key ATL skills such as research, self-management and reflection.
